Dear Friends,

Vangie and I are thrilled to announce our next trip to Israel and Rome, and hope that many of you reading this brochure will come along with us. This will be our fifth trip to the Holy Land, and we are praying and believing it will be our best yet. Visiting Israel is perhaps the highest point in my travel experience over the past forty years at Gateway. We can't put into words the thrill and excitement of seeing many of the sights and places Jesus walked, and actually making that pilgrimage in person. I can remember the first time I saw Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, and dozens of other Biblical places in person.

Talking about the birth place of Christ, Calvary, the empty tomb, is one thing, but seeing them is another. We want each of you to experience that same sense of history and that same feeling of spiritual blessing as you walk the streets, see the sights, and read the Scripture on the very spot it speaks about. The trip will also include an extension in fabulous Rome, Italy. Of all the combinations of cities we have visited when going to the Holy Land, none compares to Rome. Seeing the Coliseum, the great churches, the catacombs, the Vatican, are all memorable experiences you will never forget. The food? What more can we say about real Italian cuisine! We will also have the opportunity to spend some time in evangelism with our friends at Italy For Christ at one of the famous sights. Our accommodations will be fi ve star in Israel and 4 star superior tourist in Rome. Modern air-conditioned buses will take us from sight to sight each day. This is really a “trip of a lifetime” and all who have joined us in the past have all agreed. Make this a matter of prayer and plan to join us in March, 2017.

Please read through this this page and put yourself in the daily itinerary, thinking about the thrills of seeing the Bible come alive, and the tastes of the finest Israeli and Italian foods, in some of their finest hotels. Call to make your reservation. We have a limited amount of people who will make this trip with us, and we want you to be one of them.

Blessings,

Pastor & Vangie Mercaldo
